File managers, SFTP, backups, a live console: every panel has those, because almost every host runs the same Pterodactyl install. gummysnacks is ours, built in-house since 2022, down to the daemon on your VM. Owning the whole stack is what lets us build the things a resold panel structurally can’t.
Our hosting ran for years on a Pterodactyl fork, carrying patches against someone else’s code for every change we wanted. gummysnacks replaced it, so features land the week we want them and Observe, our own anti-abuse platform, plugs straight into the panel. Hosts reselling someone else’s software wait on upstream. We don’t.
Airbag is an opt-in toggle with 2 GB and 4 GB emergency-RAM plans, each billed at its displayed hourly rate only while deployed. Once enabled, it can hotplug your chosen reserve into the running VM when memory pressure threatens it, with no restart.
If our cloud panel goes down, Meltdown has your VM serve its own local panel, so you are never locked out waiting on us. For a host whose panel is someone else’s SaaS, that panel is the single point of failure.
